Injured marathon bombing survivors’ Brittany Loring and Liza Cherney graduated from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College on Monday. Loring and Cherney were seriously injured during the Boston Marathon bombings but are on the road to recovery.

A couple weeks ago I setup a remote camera and a few flashes to capture an American Robin (Turdus migratorius) tending to her nest of eggs. I hid about twenty feet away and snapped off a few frames with a remote when the bird returned to her nest. Below are a few photos of what I ended up with, including a behind-the-scenes shot of the setup.
Like most of the photos taken before the bombings at the 117th Boston Marathon, many of my pictures from that day ended up on the cutting room floor.
